CSCS Managers & Professionals (MAP) HS&E Test Revision
The CITB Managers & Professionals (MAP) HS&E test is required for site managers, project managers, surveyors, engineers, and other construction professionals. It covers Core Knowledge topics plus three specialist areas unique to the MAP test.
Who needs the MAP test?
The MAP HS&E test is designed for those in managerial and professional roles on construction sites. You need to pass this test to obtain a CSCS card as a:
- Site Manager or Construction Manager
- Project Manager
- Quantity Surveyor or Building Surveyor
- Civil or Structural Engineer
- Architect or Design Manager
- Health & Safety Manager or Advisor
- Other construction professional requiring a CSCS card
The MAP test consists of 50 multiple-choice questions. You must score at least 45 out of 50 to pass. The test is harder than the standard Operatives test, with questions testing deeper understanding of construction regulations and management responsibilities.
